Gerber's newest automatic knife series, the D.M.F. or Dual Multi Function knives, can be opened with your right or left hand. The DMF 0190 has a great G10 handle--gives strength and is light--combined with a fully automatic S30V steel black tactical blade with partial serrations and a tanto point. The blade on the DMF auto knife opens fast and is easy to do with just one hand. The safety is on the spine. You just press the safety into the handle and slide it down. This releases the blade to be triggered by pulling the trigger down from either side of the handle. The integral pommel gives you a great point for breaking glass in an emergency or using it to strike hard at whatever needs to be hit.
